THE PA THAT MATAHWERO BUILT FOLLOW UP

In Matua Atamas class if you finish your Follow Ups in Literacy you get to do Can Dos. I did this activity with Charlie and Jasmine and Hnin. This was a really fun project to do, this follow up is from the book The Pa that Matahwero built.  The front of this Pa it is a walkway with shelter on top we also have a blossom tree where the leaves are made out of paper that we painted pink and made it into leaf shape. Then we used animals to make it look like there was a bug crawling up. Then we painted the box brown. That’s how we made this Pa from the book The Pa that Matahwero built.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

On the 13th of November it was the Manaiakalani Film Festival. We went to Hoyts In Sylvia Park to watch films that different schools created.  So I came to school in the morning. I came to my classroom to put my bag away and checked the class timetable and it said that we are going to leave school at 9:15am. My classroom made our way to the bus parked outside our school. When we got there we sat in our seats waiting for the other classes to come out. Then all the classes came out and we had no space to sit down so we had to go to a different bus. After a while I finally arrived after a pretty boring drive there. We got out of the bus and sat outside of the Mall waiting for the other classes from our school to arrive. Next walked to the cinemas we got there and went into the room and sat there I sat next to my friend Tile and Koepa. YAY the movie had started we watched through all the amazing and funny movies we were snacking on some chips YUMM! We had a toilet break when I saw my favourite teacher Mrs Mac with her other class from a different school, I said hello to her and went to the toilet, came back and continued watching. Getting tired of the films was finishing the same thing back to school. That was an amazing Manaiakalani. I cannot wait for next year’s one and the kinds of films they will create.

Vocabulary Sheet on Hana Koko

One of my Follow up Tasks was to do a Vocabulary Sheet so that when I read the text/book I understand the words. This book made me interested in what was in the bag if you have read the book you would understand. I enjoyed reading this book I LOVE SHARING my work with you guys 😄.
